Amersham Golf Club, Bucks. (1897 - WW1)
Founded in 1897 when the professional was E Cottrell. G Lane was the professional in the early 1900s.
In the Bucks Herald dated 26 June 1909 it gives an idea as to the location of the course, in a report it stated that "formal permission had been given to the Post Office authorities to erect overhead telegraph wires at Amersham Common communicating with the golf course"
The club had disappeared at the onset of WW1.
