Dereham Common Golf Club, Norfolk. (1900s)

Founded 1902/6. A 9-hole course. The station at Dereham was 2 miles away.

In 1906 the secretary was H Vincent, Northall Grange, East Dereham, Norfolk. Visitors’ fees on introduction were, 1/- a day, 2/6d a week and 5/- a month.

The map above is from 1907. According to a newspaper report in May 1910 the Dereham club played on a course at Scarning. Could the club have moved from the above location?

This is the only positive location of a course in the Dereham area in the 1900s, we assume this is the Dereham Common club.
