Report from the Sheffield Daily Telegraph March 1908; “Wisbech Golf Club – No Sunday Play. The Wisbech Golf Club has recently made a new course on a field around Dial House, Emneth. New arrangements have been made, Sunday play will not be allowed. The first 18-hole monthly medal competition has been played, result; J Leach, 85 net; W W West, 87 net.”
