In the Nisbet's Golf Yearbook 1914 Somersham Golf Club appears as a private club, located in Huntingdonshire. The playing season was from October 1st to May 1st. Visitors’ fees were 1/- a week and 2/6 a month. Sunday play was not allowed. The station was 5 minutes away.
In April 1914 two representatives from Somersham played in the Coote Cup competition at Huntingdon Golf Club (now defunct). They scored as follows; S E Rowe, 99-20-79; W H Gotobed, 101-20-81.
