Reaseheath Golf Club, Nantwich. (1987 - 2013)

A nine-hole pay and play parkland course designed by D Mortram in 1987.

The course opened in the grounds of Reaseheath College in 1987. The golf course began life as a project for assisting green-keeping and golf course management studies. It eventually flourished and became popular as a pay and play course. Membership grew to over 600 with an active ladies and juniors sections. The clubhouse was the George England Pavilion, named after the club's first captain.

In June 1998 Edith Hodgkinson held a captain's day, she presented the Peter Wilson Rose Bowl to Beryl Young won with 36 points; Jean Longworth was runner up and Janet Orgill came third.

Sadly it was announced in November 2013 that the Reaseheath College’s picturesque 9-hole golf course was to close with the land being used for a building development.
