The professional from 1896 to 1898 was J Kelsall.

Below is a report of an exhibition match involving John Ball, amateur champion, played on the Scorton course in May 1894. It also gives a brief description of the golf course and its location.

Below is the result of a return club match played against Preston Golf Club on Saturday 30th November 1895 on the Preston course.

The final piece of information found was an advert that appeared in the Lancashie Evening Post on Saturday 25th May 1901. "For Sale, the property of the Wyresdale Golf Club, one hand and also one horse mowing machine; both in perfect order. Apply, the secretary, Scorton Vicarage, Garstang."
