In 1940 and 1947 the secretary was D S Cates, Norbreck Hydro Farm, Blackpool. The professional was H B Simpson and the green-keeper L Nix. The 18-hole course had a SSS and Par of 68. There was a membership of 100. Course records, amateur, D S Coates 66 and professional W H Davies 65.
In 1951 the secretary was R Jackson, 70 Norcliffe Road, Norbreck, the professional was still H B Simpson and the greenkeeper L Nix. Visitors’ fees were 3/- a day, 2/6 after 4pm, 12/6 a week, Sunday play allowed. The railway stations at Blackpool North and Central were 2 ½ miles from the course.
From the mid 1950s to the clubs closure in about 1964 the secretary was G D Lees, 30 Cleator Avenue, North Shore, Blackpool. The professional was H B Simpson and the greenkeeper T E Parkinson. The 18 hole course measured 4,991yds. Course records were unchanged, amateur D S Coates 66, professional W H Davies 65. Visitors’ fees were 3/6 a day, 17/6 a week. Residents at the Norbreck Hydro Hotel paid 2/6 a day and 12/6 a week.
