The medals are senior and junior divisions, this is not age related but more like a first and second division; February medal, senior, Captain R Cowper Coles 79scratch, junior, F Kynaston 111-25-86; October medal, senior, S C Bignold 91-13-78, junior, A F Vigers 91-16-75; The competition for the medal winners during the season also took place this month, Gold, Captain Cowper Coles, (scratch) and C H Byers (12) tied at 80net, Silver, F B Fuller 88-12-76.

Result of the February 1896 medal; senior, E C Rignold, 88-11-77; junior, H L Lawrie, 100-18-82.

The December 1898 medal was a tie between S G Bignold and C G Hallward with a score of 86net.

Result of the March 1899 medal; senior F Castle, 78 scratch; junior A G Capel, 93-13-80.

Thanks to Dixon Pickup for the image below and  for the following information – Player's jacket button, cuff size sadly but at least we know what the button looked like. Pretty uninspired rendering, central shield with three balls piled with crossed clubs and interwoven title scrolls. The reverse of cheap manufacture stamped 'Warranted Fast'.

In 1906 the secretary was H Ellington, Chiswick and the professional G R Savage (1903 - 1906). A 9 hole course. Visitors’ fees were 2/6 a day, 7/6 a week and 20/- a month. The station at Chiswick adjoined the course. Underground station was 1 mile away.

Chiswick Ladies Golf Club was listed separately. Visitors’ fees were 1/6 a day, 5/- a week, 15/- a month.

Sadly Chiswick golf course was sold for housing development in 1907.
