Chessington Golf Centre. (1983 - 2015)

The club was established in 1983 with a nine-hole parkland course, designed by Patrick Tallack. There was also an 18-bay driving range.

In the 1980s the secretary was A Maxted and the professional P Tallack. Course records; amateur - N Murphy, 60; professional - P Tallack and R Hunter, 54. Green fees £2. The club had a membership of  300.

In the late 1990s the professional was Simon Defoy. Green fees weekday, £4.50, weekend, £5.40. 

At closure the nine-holes measured 1,679 yards with a Par and SSS of 30. Always in good condition the course was suitable for golfers of all levels and featured some long par 3s. The secretary was Martin Bedford and the professional Mark Janes.

The club and course was to close at the end of November 2015. It was proposed that the course would be used for housing, a leisure centre and a sports ground.
