Backwell Golf Club, North Somerset. (1890 - WW1)
A privately owned course that appeared during the 1890s and was owned by the Robinson family who ran a renowned paper manufacturing company in Bristol.
Result of a match against Bristol and Clifton Golf Club played in March 1897.

The Backwell Golf Club disappeared at the time of WW1.
The O.S Map below shows the golf course in the 1900s. The course was still appearing on the O.S. Map in the 1930s.
