Backwell Golf Club, North Somerset. (1890 - WW1)
A privately owned course that appeared during the 1890s and was owned by the Robinson family who ran a renowned paper manufacturing company in Bristol.
Result of a match against Bristol and Clifton Golf Club played in March 1897.

Just before WW1 Nailsea Golf Club took over the course.

Location of the Backwell course in the early 1900s,
it was still in existence in the 1930s as Nailsea Golf Club.
