From the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald Friday 3 September 1909 – “The competition held on Saturday 28 August for prizes given by Edward Harvey and William Clark resulted as follows; George Tod, 73 net; Stephen Mackie, 76. The captain’s monthly medal results – Wednesday 11 August – S Mackie; Saturday 14 August – D Craig.
